Mark Wahlberg to star in the Uncharted movie?

There is a rumor that the director of the Uncharted movie is considering Mark Wahlberg as the possible lead of it, with the other cast choices of Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci . And that he is creating an entirely new script. No. Just, no. Please let all of this be one big, terrible rumor.

What do you think? Like the cast choices? Tell me in the comments!

This picture makes me happy.

I recently stumbled upon some absolutely amazing fan art online, and decided to share it with you. So, here is a picture, and in it, there are characters in a bar, and nearly all of the characters are from Sony. The picture is too large, so just click here to view it.

I don't know all of the characters, but I will name the ones I do know. From left to right:
1.Don't know
2.Don't know
3.Ethan Mars (Heavy Rain)
4.Don't know
5.Master Chief (Halo)
6.Capt. Shephard (Mass Effect 1/2)
7.Chell (Portal) (Behind Chell is an orange portal with a blue portal beside it)
8. Don't know
9. Don't Know
10. Behind the woman in silver is Bioshock's "Would you kindly?"
11. Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher (Uncharted 1/2)
12.Don't know the guy sitting down below them
13. Altair (Assassin's Creed),
14. John Marston and Abigail (Red Dead Redemption)
15. Jimmy (Bully)
16. Don't know
17. Don't know
18. Don't know
19. Kratos (God of War)
20. Don't know
21. Don't know
22. Don't know
23. Don't know.

If you know any of the characters that I didn't, please tell me in the comments! Also, did you like the picture? What was your favorite character(s)? Mine was Nathan and Elena!

EDIT: I looked closer at the picture and noticed a ton of easter eggs. First off, beside Ethan Mars is the red balloon from Heavy Rain. Next, look at the paintings behind Master Chief, and you'll notice two familiar faces: Miles Edgeworth from Ace Attorney and Professor Layton from the Professor Layton series on the DS. Next, look under the portals, and you'll see a cake. If you look by Nate and Elena, you'll notice the dagger from Uncharted 2. Okay, this is my favorite picture in the world.

Bungie may have outed Uncharted 3

Recently, Bungie, the creators of the Halo series posted on their website that they were playing Halo: Reach with Naughty Dog. Read the full article here

Here's a part of the article; Late last night, four grown ass men from the award-winning gaming studio Naughty Dog took some time away from crafting their next totally unannounced, super top secret project to square off with us in Halo: Reach.

They then named one of their article sections "Team totally not working on Uncharted 3 right now"
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but this does not seem one bit like an accident, which many people believe it was. How in the world would it be an accident to name an entire section about Uncharted 3? This just seems set up by Naughty Dog to me. Maybe they wanted the word out. Hopefully this is all true, but I don't know.

Anyway, what are your thoughts? Could this truly have been an accident? Weigh in in the comments! Thanks For reading!

Unhcarted 3's setting possibly in the Middle East

So, you may or may not know this, but there has been news that recently hit saying that Uncharted 3 could be set in the Middle East. Honestly, I think this would be a pretty cool idea. I mean, Naughty Dog could really do something with it, seeing as they're so amazing with environments. Here's a section of the article:

"In passing, Ghassan Ayoubi, executive director of Rubicon Holding, mentioned that FIFA 11 and the third installment in the Uncharted franchise could be among the first games to be “Arabised and localized” for the Middle Eastern market."

Read the full article here, http://playstationlifestyle.net/2010/10/21/uncharted-3-hinted-at-in-middle-east-localization-deal/

So, what do you think of a Middle Eastern setting for the next installment of the amazing Uncharted franchise? Where would you like to see it taken? Tell me in the comments, and thanks for reading!

My Mirror's Edge Review

I loved this game, so I'll start by listing the positives of this game. First off, it seems very new to the gaming industry with the fun gameplay and amazing first person view. Also, it's amazing when you get that run going, the one that just isn't stopping, and you're able to mix all these cool moves together. And that's where it messes up, too. Way too many times, you've got a great stride going, and suddenly, you have to stop in order to figure out just what the heck you're supposed to doing next, and it totally ruins that great experience.

Then, there's the guns. This is what I feel held the game back from being so great. There are these perfect times when you're swiftly moving around the game and suddenly you come up to these enemies with guns. Most of the time, you can't run away from them, so you're going to have to fight them. Fighting the enemies later in the game gets so frustrating, because there are so many of them, and you're getting shot at while you're fighting another one, and you die. And die. And die. I could not count the number of times I died in this game.

Also, where I feel the game really shined was when you were running across the rooftops, not inside a mall. The inside parts weren't terrible, they just paled in comparison the the rooftop sequences.

Okay, that's my review. Hope you liked it! Tell me what you though in the comments, thanks!

My review of Bioshock 2

Okay, I played through the first Bioshock marveling at the amazing graphics and wonderfully creepy atmosphere. When I heard news of the sequel of this astounding game, I became very excited. I bought it the week it was released, and happily popped the disc inside my PS3. I started the game with biased opinions, all of which were good, thinking that this would be nearly as good as the original masterpiece. It wasn't.

First off, the creepy atmosphere from the first game just didn't feel like it was there in this one. I assumed that with the addition of the Big Sisters that the creepiness was going to be even more, but it just wasn't. The splicers were a bit changed, but it surely didn't help much. Also, the moral choices are one of the reasons I wanted this one, too. The original Bioshock's moral choices weren't much of moral choices at all. Harvest the little sisters, or save them. That was it. The moral choices were slightly improved this time, but not to the level I expected.

The story was actually one aspect of the game I really liked. It was seemingly better than the first, but I still love the first games message more. "A man chooses. A slave obeys." But I do love the father-daughter relationship conveyed in the sequel.

I guess my gripe with it is that it just didn't have the same effect on me that Bioshock did. Maybe with Bioshock Infinite, they'll be able to pick it back up.

Thanks for reading! What were your opinions of Bioshock 2? Tell me in the comments!

Could Mirror's Edge 2 be canceled?

To my knowledge, the most recent news we have on Mirror's Edge 2's development is, "We have a small team working on it.", or something to that extent. Unfortunately, I don't believe that there is anymore news. This could mean that Mirror's Edge 2 could have been canceled. Well, I just don't want to believe that.

What do you think this means? Could it have been canceled? Leave your thoughts in the comments, thanks!

Emily Rose may want to be in the Uncharted movie.

So, I recently tweeted to Emily Rose, voice actress of Elena Fisher, asking about the possibility of her playing Elena in the Uncharted Movie. I tweeted:

And this is her reply :

I hope this means that she's thinking about applying for the part.

So, would you like to see Emily Rose as Elena? Personally, I think either Emily or Jennifer Aniston should do Elena. What do you think? Tell me in the comments!

Nathan Fillion campaiging for lead role in the Uncharted movie!

So, it's already been confirmed that there is an Uncharted: Drake's Fortune movie in the works, but there hasn't been any cast confirmation just yet. Originally, director David O. Russel had quit directing the movie for some unknown reason, but he's back now, and has started back on the film. Nathan Fillion has recently started a campaign because he wants to play Drake in the movie! Here is his tweet where he states it: If ever there was a twitter campaign, let this be it. Rise, ye Browncoats. Rise, ye Castillions. RISE!” Fillion posted in a tweet, which also included a link to the original Hollywood Reporter story." And here is the link to the story

What do you think? Is he a good fit, or did you have somebody better in mind? Let me know in the comments!

New Cole? I guess he'll have to do *sigh*

Cole MacGrath has experienced a lot of changes from Infamous 1 to Infamous 2. Changes that I don't really like. First of all, the first Cole was unique, in my opinion. He wasn't the usual hero you see in games, the tough guy. He was an everyday guy, like you and me. Now? Now, he looks almost like a frat boy, and his voice doesn't match his face at all. The most recent screenshot of him shows him with a scar, which he probably picked from a fight with the Beast from the first game. This is one change I actually do like. Now, he's starting to look a little more normal, rather than the perfect, hot frat guy. Pictures above.

While I do prefer the Cole from the first game (PIC ABOVE), I'll be happy to accept the scar Cole. What do you think? Do you like the new Cole? Is the old Cole better, or are you glad they changed? Leave your opinions in the comments, and thanks for reading!

New Ape Escape game doesn't seem like an "Ape Escape game".

So, as you may or may not know, there's a new Ape Escape game coming out for Playstation Move. I don't like it at all. Now, I've been a fan of Ape Escape since AE2, and was super excited to hear they were releasing a new game on PS3. That was, until, I heard what they're doing with it. Instead of being a platformer like the first games, part of what made it fun, it's now an on-rail shooter of sorts. It's not a shooter, but it is a first person view where the only control you have is of the tools it gives you, like a net and banana. You have no control over your character, meaning the game moves him once you've caught the monkeys.

They've gone away completely from what made the Ape Escape games so fun. If they kept it a platformer like the first games, I'd get it, but I'm definitely not getting this game. Maybe they'll make another game, one that actually fits in with the franchise, but until then, I'll be playing my other games. So, what do you think of the new Ape Escape game?

Uncharted 3 in the works? Sony says no, but I'm not believing it.

So, as you may know, Emily Rose, the voice actress of Elena Fisher from the Uncharted series has tweeted that she is working on some Uncharted stuff. The following picture shows this:

Now, Sony simply stated the following, “Now that Emily is just back from filming Haven she will be working with Naughty Dog on some DLC content.”
To me, this just seems like a cover-up in case Emily ruined the surprise of either Uncharted 3, or the Uncharted movie. The reason I believe this is because it's been over a month since the tweet, and they still haven't released any information about it.
My second reason is that they've released DLC in the past without needing the Voice Actors. Why
would they need them now? It may be for Single Player DLC, but I still believe that it's either Uncharted 3 or the Uncharted movie.

Alright, so, that's just my assumption. Thanks for reading! Please comment what you think!
